Being in a rut or always feeling tired is a thing we usually see in our experience. The main reason people feel tired because they are not convinced that they are not doing the work they love. It is a bad conundrum that everyone stays at, making you feel tired more and more. Don’t get demotivated by the intro; there is always a solution to all types of problems.
I was also stuck with this ‘always tired syndrome’, but I tried this simple trick given by an expert which solved my problem. I’m going to explain how I got out of the rut.
First and foremost is to start doing something that you do every day that you don’t consider work. For example, start brushing your teeth when you feel tired. It will get into momentum and make you get excited about something. Then you can carry the momentum to do the work that is on your to-do list.
Don’t under estimate this solution. Even monotonous works are sometimes beneficial to get in the mood and momentum quicker than the interesting and challenging tasks does.
All you have to do is to break the ‘stuck’ state and instigate the ‘action’ state. Once you get in to the activity, You can switch to other activities that is on your task list.
Have small goals and reward yourself
The next thing you have to keep in mind is that you need to make small goals. Don’t try to overload yourself or over-commit with all the work at once. Make sure that you tackle your work one by one.
In fact, Keep one task in the mind and pretend to forget every other task on the list. It is good to put the simplest and easiest task at first if you are not yet into the momentum or pace to handle challenging tasks.
Set small rewards for yourself for completing your goals. For example, if you finish a small task, you can reward yourself with a 5 min youtube video; if you finish the day’s work, reward yourself with pizza and a gaming session.
Raise your benchmark
Always make sure that you raise the work you completed in a day by raising your standards. If you stay at the same level of goals for more time, you become more complacent. So try to raise your benchmark every three days. It will grow your productivity skill to the max.
Make a habit
Habitizing the work you are about to do is one of the main things you can do to make your work completed easy for you. Normally as author Charles Duhigg mentions, it takes a minimal of 21 days for a person to form a habit, and for the habit to form it takes around 66 days. Do it! So it will make you more effective and make you feel no tired at all.
